On November 21, please consider joining us for a roadside cleanup of a section of Sleepy Hollow Road. The more volunteers who participate, the more quickly the work can be completed. In the event of adverse weather, the cleanup will be canceled and postponed until next spring.

Following the initial cleanup, signs recognizing Wenatchee Valley Velo Cycling Club will be installed along the roadway in both directions. As part of the Adopt-a-Road program, the club has committed to conducting two roadway cleanup events each calendar year.

Please sign up by November 18, as Joe Repar needs to obtain the appropriate number of safety vests and litter grabbers for volunteers. In addition, all participants are required to review a brief 10-minute safety video before taking part in the cleanup. The video will be emailed to all registered participants prior to the event.

This is a great opportunity to increase awareness of our club within the greater Wenatchee cycling community while helping keep our roads clean and attractive. Any participation is greatly appreciated!
