Registration: Registration will remain open through September 30. After that date, registration will close so Al and I can finalize our food preparations and make the necessary arrangements for the event.
If you decide you'd like to join the ride after September 30, please feel free to call, text, or email Ann directly. We will likely still be able to accommodate you and would be happy to have you join us.
Monument Ride
Time: Rollout is at 11:30 AM. The weather forecast is currently looking promising, with sunny skies expected. The temperature at rollout is forecast to be around 60°F, with a daytime high of approximately 68°F.
Feel free to arrive as early as 11:00 AM to use the restroom, prepare your gear, and get settled before departure.
Location: Meet at the cabin (10885 Wending Ln, Leavenworth). We have bear in the area; please avoid leaving any food/garbage unattended.

Ride Description:
This ride starts in Plain (10885 Wending Ln - Google Maps) at Al's and Ann's place
50 mile Plain route
- Mile 24: Bathroom (outhouse), water, snacks, and hand sanitizer
- Mile 38.4: Additional water and snacks
Post ride: Since this is the first weekend of Oktoberfest in Leavenworth, the post‑ride food will include bratwursts, condiments, sauerkraut, and chips. Feel free to contribute a Bavarian‑themed dish if you'd like—no obligation. Water, soda, sparkling water, and some adult beverages will be available. If you’re extra thirsty, please bring additional beverages.
Parking: Please park on either side of the street or in the driveway. DO NOT park in the really convenient cul-de-sac just above Al's and Ann's place.

We offer weekly rides on Saturdays that typically start at Wenatchee Valley Brewing Company, led by members of the Velo club. Because we are acting as ride leaders, we HAVE to insist that people sign the wavier, and become members! Completion of membership includes the applicable ride waiver.
Wenatchee Valley Velo supports a multitude of cycling programs and events in the local area. The annual dues from membership along with proceeds from cycling events assist us in promoting safe cycling in our area. Member appreciation events are held throughout the year and are free with your paid membership.
