Time: TBD, start time will be posted about a week in advance
Location: Meet at the cabin (10885 Wending Ln, Leavenworth). We have bear in the area; please avoid leaving any food/garbage unattended.
Rider Level: C (13-16 mph avg)
Terrain: Rolling
Distance: ~50miles (2294')
Approx. Time: 3.5-4.5 hours plus the BBQ

Ride Description:
This ride starts in Plain (10885 Wending Ln - Google Maps) at Al's and Ann's place
50 mile Plain route
- Mile 24: Bathroom (outhouse), water, snacks, and hand sanitizer
- Mile 38.4: Additional water and snacks
Post ride: Since this is the first weekend of Oktoberfest in Leavenworth, the post‑ride food will include bratwursts, condiments, sauerkraut, and chips. Feel free to contribute a Bavarian‑themed dish if you'd like—no obligation. Water, soda, sparkling water, and some adult beverages will be available. If you’re extra thirsty, please bring additional beverages.
Parking: Please park on either side of the street or in the driveway. DO NOT park in the really convenient cul-de-sac just above Al's and Ann's place.

Registration assists ride leader in planning ride and also provides emergency contact info should it be needed during the event.

We offer weekly rides on Saturdays that typically start at Wenatchee Valley Brewing Company, led by members of the Velo club. Because we are acting as ride leaders, we HAVE to insist that people sign the wavier, and become members! Completion of membership includes the applicable ride waiver.
Wenatchee Valley Velo supports a multitude of cycling programs and events in the local area. The annual dues from membership along with proceeds from cycling events assist us in promoting safe cycling in our area. Member appreciation events are held throughout the year and are free with your paid membership.
