The ride of Silence is a national event to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways and to bring awareness that cyclists have a legal right to share the road with motorists.
This is a community ride open to local cyclists, friends, and community members. The plan is to meet at the west entrance at Pybus at 6:50. After brief commentary the group will ride out at a pace no faster than 10-12 mph with police escort. During the ride everyone is asked to remain silent. The ride is flat and about 3 miles long
