Route Change - Brisky/Brender/Yalsum to get some cover from the sun. Nahahum is too open. No shade.

Early Start due to extreme heat!  Bring extra hydration!

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!

Rider Level: C (12-14mph avg)

Terrain: Hilly (3160' elevation gain) - With one long, sustained hill

Distance: 42 Miles

Approx. Time: 4-5 hours

Ride Description:

Leaving at 7:00 AM from Wenatchee Valley brewery (https://goo.gl/maps/6iFgGXzCmwS9yvbi8).

Ride out Easy St. and up the highway to Red Apple Rd. Continuing on the frontage road  and enter Cashmere at Aplets way. Wind our way out to Brisky/Brender canyons, hit Yaksum canyon on the way back. We will return to Wenatchee via Sleepy Hollow Rollers. Final regroup at Wenatchee Valley Brewing for a post ride beverage and socialization if open.

Registration assists ride leader in planning ride and also provides emergency contact info should it be needed during the event.

We offer weekly rides on Saturdays that typically start at Wenatchee Valley Brewing Company, led by members of the Velo club. Because we are acting as ride leaders, we HAVE to insist that people sign the wavier, and become members! Completion of membership includes the applicable ride waiver.

Wenatchee Valley Velo supports a multitude of cycling programs and events in the local area. The annual dues from membership along with proceeds from cycling events assist us in promoting safe cycling in our area. Member appreciation events are held throughout the year and are free with your paid membership.
